Suzie Watanabe Sews Masks for AADAP

By April 9, 2020September 1st, 2020No Comments

Safety and stay at home orders have become the new norm. On April 3, 2020, the City of Los Angeles disseminated new guidance that all Angelenos should wear non-medical cloth face coverings when in public. In a global health pandemic, our reality has changed worldwide. Suzie Watanabe, Quilts from the Heart, and President & CEO Mike Watanabes’, MSW, LHD, wife, brought her heart to her hands and sewed masks for the AADAP’s Therapeutic Community clients as well as all of AADAP’s staff. We can turn our fears into positive and helpful actions.
