Safety and stay at home orders have become the new norm. On April 3, 2020, the City of Los Angeles disseminated new guidance that all Angelenos should wear non-medical cloth face coverings when in public. In a global health pandemic, our reality has changed worldwide. Suzie Watanabe, Quilts from the Heart, and President & CEO Mike Watanabes’, MSW, LHD, wife, brought her heart to her hands and sewed masks for the AADAP’s Therapeutic Community clients as well as all of AADAP’s staff.
