The VaccinateALL58 campaign is partnering with the Asian American Drug Abuse Program (AADAP) to provide a series of free COVID-19 vaccination clinics for all eligible residents ages 5 and up.
Local residents can receive their first COVID-19 vaccine, complete their second dose, or receive a booster. Individuals 12+ who received the Pfizer vaccine or individuals 18+ who received the Moderna vaccine are eligible for a booster five months after their initial full series was completed. Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients are encouraged to get boosted two months after their first vaccination. Lower dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines are available for children ages 5-11. Parents, guardians or caregivers must be present for vaccinations with minors. No appointments are necessary. Spanish translations will be available.
Only 68% of all eligible Los Angeles residents are fully vaccinated, and just one- third of eligible children ages 5-11 have received their first shot. The risks of hospitalization and death remain high for unvaccinated and partially vaccinated individuals.
Vaccines and boosters are how we get through this pandemic and help protect our hospital and health care system. Hospitals are already stretched, and the winter surge of COVID-19 infections is overburdening the system and healthcare workers. The most important thing we need to continue to do is get vaccinated and get boosted.
These clinics will take place on February 4, 11, 18 and March 4 and 11 from 10 AM to 4 PM at our corporate office (2900 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016). You can make an appointment on myturn.ca.gov or you can come as a walk-in. For more information you can contact Frederika Keating at (310) 706-1952 or by email at [email protected]
