We want to encourage our supporters and community to join us in living out our motto "People Need People". We need each other now more than ever. Our goal is to raise $10,000 so that we can provide critical essentials like food, clothing and necessary PPE for staff. We are providing food bags to alleviate some of the burden for our hardest hit families. We will also use the funds to acquire webcams, laptops, and mic sets to increase our Telehealth capacity, and make services accessible to all clients.

Our doors are open and we are here for the community
We have been serving the low-income and under-represented communities in Los Angeles County since 1972. Today, we have 6 major programs ranging from substance abuse treatment to youth development to employment services that reaches over 20,000 individuals every year. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have kept our doors open and continued to provide essential services to the community.

How Your Donation Is Put to Use
Food
Many of our clients have experienced increased economic hardship, and food insecurity is on the rise. We are providing food bags to alleviate some of that burden for our hardest hit families.
Baby Products
We are helping provide parents with essential baby care products (baby formula, wipes, lotion, burping cloths, etc.) and diapers to ensure the safety and health of our client mothers and their children from COVID-19.
PPE
We are in dire need of masks, gloves, hand sanitizers and other protective gear for our staff and clients. PPE are an essential need in all of our programs, and they would be distributed to both staff and clients for their protection.
Technology
As we are updating our services as a result of the pandemic, we are in need of equipement to properly conduct our services via telehealth. Webcams, laptops, headset mics are in demand right now as more and more people are working from home.

People Need People
All donation are 100% Tax Deductible, and will be used towards AADAP's COVID-19 Relief efforts. Our staff are checking in with our clients daily to see what their needs are arising and working collaboratively with partners in the community to respond to those needs.
