Our Community Prevention Team held a 3-day Anti 4/20 event at Gardena High School Quad last week. In a nutshell, the date 4/20 has historically been dedicated as a day for marijuana use. Over the past 3 years, the City of Gardena has challenged the prevailing norm of that occasion through counter activities led by Gardena Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention (GDAAP) and Gardena High School Task Force (HSTF), which are the adult and youth coalitions established by AADAP to take charge of substance abuse prevention work in the community.
